JJ, the manager at Tanger's Fudgery, Likes to dress up. He and his wife, Karey, also do reenactments (Civil War era) and, over the years, we've all enjoyed dressing up for movies. It's a lot of fun to go see Pirates of the Caribbean dressed as Pirates.

Last Halloween, JJ came up with the idea of a flash Zombie walk at the Landing. Others from work got involved and it was a blast. So, they have continued on from that event, creating a club called "Zombies and Finer Things Club". Their first official outing was this parade.

It was cold, windy and rainy, but that didn't stop this group from enjoying the event. Karey's dad owns (and drove) a hearse and they were all there to support the group.

Maura was a fairy (dead I suppose she was a banshee) and Tyler was a priest. Maura brought her debate partner, Jacob, dressed as a DR. There was Chase, the only one who has weird contacts to wear which makes him look very scary. There was a soccer player and Karey was some sort of beauty queen (I think) JJ looked like he was going for a Typical Irish partier that was a zombie.

The parade ended and the judging announcements were made at a pub. They ended up winning first place in their division (group or family) and they were given a beautiful hand blown glass award.

Now Maura can concentrate on making her Prom dress (with some help) from Dorito bags. I'm not sure how we are going to pull it off, but everyone is expecting it. Everywhere I go, people are asking me about it. Maura always says, "I got this" but I finally got her to admit she really doesn't yet. After the parade, we went to Joanns and bought a pattern for the dress. Now, we need to figure out how to make it from those bags.
